Today I celebrate Dieussait’s amazing cooking. People often ask me if I cook Haitian food, and the answer is a resounding, “No!” because I know that nothing I make will not even begin to compare with what Dieussait can do. I don’t even order Haitian food in restaurants because I know it will be disappointing.
